tpo-charts

tpo-charts is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from kayzaa/k.i.t.-bot. It costs 0 tokens per session (858 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of tpo-charts, MIT.

A market-profile chart that shows how much time price spent at each level. It highlights areas such as the value area, the Point of Control, and possible support or resistance zones.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build single-day or multi-day profiles, identify the most active price level, inspect value areas, and detect profile shapes or low-activity zones.
Why use it?
It gives traders a view of where the market spent time instead of showing only price movement over time.

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00858
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00429
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00172
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00086

Security

Grade A, and why

tpo-charts scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

TPO Charts (Time Price Opportunity)

Skill #91 - Market Profile analysis with TPO visualization

Overview

Time Price Opportunity charts display how much time price spends at each level, revealing value areas, POC (Point of Control), and institutional activity zones. Essential for understanding where "smart money" accumulates.

Inspired by TradingView's TPO/Market Profile feature.

Features

  • TPO Letter Profiles: Each letter = one time period at price level
  • Value Area: Where 70% of trading activity occurs (VAH/VAL)
  • Point of Control (POC): Most traded price level
  • Initial Balance: First hour's range (key support/resistance)
  • Single Prints: Low volume areas = potential breakout zones
  • Profile Shapes: P, b, D, B-shape pattern recognition
  • Multi-Day Composite: Merge profiles for longer-term analysis

Usage

# Basic TPO chart
kit skill tpo --symbol ES --date today

# With value area
kit skill tpo --symbol NQ --show-value-area --period 30m

# Composite profile (5 days)
kit skill tpo --symbol BTCUSDT --composite 5d

# Profile shape detection
kit skill tpo --symbol EURUSD --detect-shapes

Configuration

tpo_charts:
period: 30m # Time per TPO letter
  value_area: 70 # % for value area calculation
  letters: "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"

  sessions:
    regular:
      start: "09:30"
      end: "16:00"
    extended:
      start: "04:00"
      end: "20:00"

  colors:
    poc: "#FFD700" # Gold
    value_area: "#4169E1" # Royal Blue
    single_print: "#FF6B6B"
    initial_balance: "#90EE90"

Profile Shapes & Meaning

Shape Pattern Interpretation
P Activity at top Failed auction high, bearish
b Activity at bottom Failed auction low, bullish
D Normal distribution Balanced, range-bound
B Double distribution Two value areas, breakout pending

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
