Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00122 | $0.06501 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00049 | $0.02600 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00024 | $0.01300 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00650 |
Grade A, and why
kedro-deploy-databricks scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 262 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Deploying a Kedro project to Databricks
Scope
This skill covers the Kedro side of a Databricks deployment. Split every answer along these lines:
| Owner | Responsible for |
|---|---|
| Kedro | Pipelines, node grouping, the catalog, conf/ and environments, packaging |
| kedro-databricks | Generating bundle YAML from the project: databricks.yml, resources/*.yml, conf/<env>/databricks.yml |
| Databricks | Compute and cluster configuration, permissions and grants, Unity Catalog setup, secret scopes, authentication, networking, deploy-engine errors |
kedro-databricks is a community-maintained plugin (https://github.com/JenspederM/kedro-databricks), not part of Kedro: check its version and open issues before relying on a behaviour. For anything in the Databricks row, say where the setting lives in the project and link the Databricks documentation listed under Out of scope. Never invent values such as node_type_id, spark_version or policy IDs.
CRITICAL: Never take kedro-databricks flags, bundle fields or Databricks behaviour from training data. Both change often. The installed code and --help output win over the docs, memory and this file, and versioned docs win over memory. Where kedro-databricks' docs disagree with its code, follow the code. Never generate these outdated patterns: dbx, databricks configure --token, /dbfs/FileStore/..., dbfs:/mnt/... or /dbfs/mnt/... paths, the databricks-iris starter, or a conf/<env>/databricks.yml with a top-level default: key instead of resources:.
Step 1: check what is installed
Run this with the project's interpreter:
python - <<'EOF'
import sys
from importlib.metadata import PackageNotFoundError, version
print(sys.executable, "venv" if sys.prefix != sys.base_prefix else "")
for name in ("kedro", "kedro-databricks", "kedro-datasets"):
try:
print(name, version(name))
except PackageNotFoundError:
print(name, "not installed")
try:
from kedro.inspection import validate_deployment_grouping # noqa: F401
print("grouping check: available")
except ImportError:
print("grouping check: not available")
EOF
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

kedro-deploy-databricks is a skill published in the GitHub repository kedro-org/kedro-skills (7 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 122 tokens to every session and 6,501 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-04.
