leansdd: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/leansdd-map/SKILL.md

leansdd-map is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from kidpixo/leansdd. It costs 38 tokens per session (367 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for creating or refreshing an optional project map and generated symbol list. The map describes the codebase structure, while the symbol list records definitions such as functions and classes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when enabling the map, refreshing it after structural changes, or regenerating symbols after code changes.
Why use it?
It keeps structural documentation aligned with the repository and makes moved files or outdated generated information visible.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents); mentions AGENTS.md.

This is kidpixo/leansdd's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on leansdd itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything leansdd configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.00367
Opus 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00147
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00037

Security

Grade A, and why

leansdd-map scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Lean SDD project map (01_STRUCTURE + SYMBOLS)

Only for projects where the map is enabled (Map threshold: in 00_CONSTRAINTS.md). The map is descriptive, never normative; code wins on any disagreement.

Create

  1. Walk the top two directory levels and entry points (main, index, app configs).
  2. Draft 01_STRUCTURE.md from the AGENTS.md template: Flow, Modules (path → responsibility → entry point), External Boundaries. No signatures, no line numbers, no invariants.
  3. Generate the symbol index mechanically — never by hand, never from memory: ctags -R -x --output-format=u-ctags . > .ai/SYMBOLS.txt (or tree-sitter equivalent).
  4. Commit it or gitignore it, per the project's choice; if ignored, note in 01_STRUCTURE.md that it is regenerated on OPEN.

Refresh (OPEN or after structural change)

  1. git diff --name-status <stamp-hash>..HEAD — if files or directories were added, removed, or renamed, refresh the map before starting work.
  2. If SYMBOLS.txt predates HEAD, regenerate it.
  3. If the map disagrees with code, fix the map in the same session.

Retire

If the map cannot be kept current, delete 01_STRUCTURE.md and SYMBOLS.txt, and record why in 03_CURRENT_STATUS.md. A stale map is worse than no map.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
