leansdd: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/leansdd-session/SKILL.md

leansdd-session is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from kidpixo/leansdd. It costs 49 tokens per session (443 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A session workflow for Lean SDD projects, covering the opening and closing of a coding session. It checks project consistency, reviews changes since recorded file stamps, updates status, and refreshes records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it at the start or end of work to check repository records, surface warnings, update progress, refresh stamps, and archive over-limit files.
Why use it?
It helps keep project notes, decisions, and current status aligned with the code instead of becoming stale.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents); mentions AGENTS.md.

This is kidpixo/leansdd's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on leansdd itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything leansdd configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00049 $0.00443
Opus 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00177
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00089
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00044

Measured 5d ago against content hash 175feaf02bcf, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

leansdd-session scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Lean SDD session (OPEN / CLOSE)

Implements the OPEN and CLOSE steps of the session contract in AGENTS.md using the deterministic script, so hashes and archive moves are never hand-made. Requires .ai/scripts/leansdd-check.py in the repo.

OPEN

  1. Run the consistency check: python .ai/scripts/leansdd-check.py Fix nothing silently; report ERRORs to the human, list WARNs.
  2. For each live file you will read, skim the commits since its stamp: git log --oneline <hash>..HEAD (cap the output at ~20 lines per file). Reconcile anything the file describes that has changed; flag contradictions.
  3. If the spec version in AGENTS.md differs from the one in 00_CONSTRAINTS.md, stop and surface the CHANGELOG migration steps — do not migrate in this skill.
  4. Restate the current state from 03_CURRENT_STATUS.md in 1-2 lines and state what you will do.

CLOSE

  1. Update 03_CURRENT_STATUS.md (move done to NEXT, update blockers).
  2. Refresh all stamps with real values from git: python .ai/scripts/leansdd-check.py stamp
  3. If a decision was made, use the leansdd-adr skill first, then continue.
  4. Archive over-cap files, keeping the active tail: python .ai/scripts/leansdd-check.py archive --dry-run then without --dry-run.
  5. Re-run python .ai/scripts/leansdd-check.py; fix findings or list them for the human.
  6. State the next step in one line.

Never invent a commit hash. If the repo is not under git, stamp writes date-only stamps, which is correct.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
