Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00099 | $0.02236 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00040 | $0.00894 |

Grade B, and why
graphql-mcp-server scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Strips warnings and disclaimersmediumAnti-refusal
Omitting safety caveats hides risk from the user and is a common jailbreak preamble.
4. **`--include` filters mutations too.** If you combine `--include` with whitelisted mutations, list the mutations in `--include` as well. Otherwise they are dropped without any warning. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 138 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
GraphQL MCP Server (graphql2mcp)
graphql2mcp turns every field on a GraphQL schema's Query type (and any Mutation fields you opt in to) into an MCP tool. When a tool is called, it runs the matching operation against the GraphQL endpoint and returns the JSON result.
| Situation | Use |
|---|---|
| An MCP client (Claude Code, Cursor, …) should talk to a GraphQL API | CLI: npx -y graphql2mcp <source> [options] |
You already have a TypeScript McpServer and want GraphQL tools |
@graphql2mcp/lib → registerGraphQLTools(server, options) |
| Several GraphQL APIs in one server, built in code | createProxyServer from graphql2mcp, see references/library.md |
Runtime: Node.js >= 22, Bun >= 1.2, or Deno >= 2.
CLI
# Live endpoint: the schema is introspected and queries go to the same URL
npx -y graphql2mcp https://api.example.com/graphql -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
# Local schema (SDL file, quoted glob, or introspection .json): -e is REQUIRED
npx -y graphql2mcp ./schema.graphql -e https://api.example.com/graphql
How <source> is interpreted: http(s):// means live introspection. *.json is a saved introspection result. Anything containing * or ? is a glob, and the matched files are merged. *.graphql/*.gql is an SDL file.
Main flags (full table in references/cli.md):
| Flag | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
-e, --endpoint <url> |
source URL | Where queries are executed. Required for non-URL sources |
-H, --header "K: V" |
One header per flag; repeat the flag. Used for introspection and execution | |
-m, --mutations <mode> |
none |
none, all, whitelist |
--mutation-whitelist a,b |
Comma-separated. Switches to whitelist mode automatically | |
--include a,b |
Comma-separated GraphQL field names. Applies to queries and mutations | |
--exclude a,b |
Comma-separated. Overrides --include |
|
-d, --depth <n> |
3 |
How deep nested objects are selected in results |
-t, --transport <type> |
stdio |
stdio or http |
-p, --port <n> |
3000 |
Only used with -t http |
-n, --name <name> |
graphql-mcp-server |
MCP server name |
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

graphql-mcp-server is a skill published in the GitHub repository KKonstantinov/graphql2mcp (1 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 2,236 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (strips warnings and disclaimers). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-14.
