Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01198
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00479
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00240
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00120

Measured today against content hash 1d5c98a4b68c, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sbk-driver-development scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SBK Driver Development Skill

Helps AI agents add new storage drivers or modify existing drivers in the SBK repository.

When to use this skill

Invoke this skill when:

  • Adding a new storage driver to SBK
  • Modifying an existing driver (adding CLI flags, fixing bugs, changing behavior)
  • A driver change requires updating build configuration

Read docs/HOT_PATHS.md before editing a driver writer, reader, async completion, callback, or helper invoked per operation. Those paths are H0. Do not add a branch, atomic/volatile operation, lock, wait, allocation, bookkeeping, clock read, conversion, or dispatch layer without explicit human confirmation for the exact edit.

What this skill provides

Context

  • SBK driver SPI contract and implementation patterns
  • File structure conventions for drivers
  • Build system integration (settings-drivers.gradle, build-drivers.gradle)
  • Checkstyle and import-control requirements
  • Common gotchas specific to SBK drivers

Guidance

  • Step-by-step workflow for adding a new driver from the sbktemplate scaffold
  • Pattern for adding CLI flags (addArgs → Config class → properties file)
  • Verification checklist specific to driver changes
  • Error handling patterns for driver shutdown

Required capabilities

This skill does not grant permissions. The agent still follows AGENTS.md and its host tool's approval model. Driver work normally needs scoped edits under drivers/<name>/, both driver-registration files, and sometimes checkstyle/import-control.xml, plus permission to run the Gradle wrapper.

Workflow

Adding a new driver

  1. Copy scaffold: cp -r drivers/sbktemplate drivers/<newname>
  2. Rename packages and classes: Replace SbkTemplate with PascalCaseName throughout
  3. Edit build.gradle: Add vendor SDK dependency
  4. Register in build system:
    • Add include 'drivers:<name>' to settings-drivers.gradle
    • Add api project(':drivers:<name>') to build-drivers.gradle
  5. Update checkstyle: If SDK brings new top-level packages, add to checkstyle/import-control.xml
  6. Implement the four classes: <Name>.java, <Name>Writer.java, <Name>Reader.java, <Name>Config.java
  7. Add README.md: Document driver with at least one write and one read example
  8. Verify: Run ./gradlew :drivers:<name>:check, ./gradlew check, ./gradlew installDist, smoke test

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sbk-driver-development is a skill published in the GitHub repository kmgowda/SBK (36 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 1,198 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
