Airline Check-in
Automates airline online check-in using a locally-controlled Chrome instance (via CDP). Cloud browsers (Browserbase, standard browser_navigate) are blocked by airline anti-bot WAFs. The working path is: local Chrome for Testing, then playwright-core connectOverCDP(), then drive the browser.
Status
Working path verified on a major US carrier (Apr 2026). Pattern expected to generalize to other airlines with similar anti-bot posture.
Required user data
Skill reads personal data from ~/brain/concepts/:
loyalty-info.md— traveler identity: loyalty numbers, KTN, Global Entry, passportairline-preferences.md— baggage default, seat preferences per airline
If these files don't exist, the setup script populates templates. User fills them in.
Pre-checkin checklist
Before triggering automation, verify:
- KTN is documented for the traveler in
loyalty-info.md - Loyalty number is active on the reservation (may require pre-linking in airline profile)
- Baggage plan is determined (carry-on vs 1 checked vs other). Ask user if ambiguous.
- Airline security stance. If the airline blocks cloud agents (Browserbase, etc.), use local CDP (default).
