programmatic-seo

programmatic-seo is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from krillinai/growth-skills. It costs 101 tokens per session (1,894 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A framework for planning and governing large groups of search-focused website pages built from structured data, such as products, locations, categories, comparisons, or integrations. Each page family is a repeatable set of pages serving a specific search need.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for validating page opportunities, designing templates and URLs, auditing live page systems, planning launches, measuring evidence, and retiring weak page families.
Why use it?
It helps teams avoid duplicate, empty, unreliable, or hard-to-maintain pages and judge whether the underlying data supports them.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00101 $0.01894
Opus 5 $0.00051 $0.00947
Sonnet 5 $0.00020 $0.00379
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00189

Security

Grade A, and why

programmatic-seo scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Programmatic SEO

Design scalable page systems that repeatedly satisfy specific search intent with reliable data, useful page-level value, a coherent product path, and sustainable maintenance. Treat page count, generation speed, indexed URLs, impressions, and rankings as operating evidence, not customer or business success.

Read system-contract.md before approving a page opportunity, data source, template, or URL inventory. Read quality-and-launch.md before sampling pages, defining indexability, sequencing a launch, measuring results, or retiring a page family. Use playbook-sources.md to cite the pinned Growth Playbook basis.

Select One Mode

Mode Use
validate Decide whether a proposed page family has distinct demand, reliable supply, useful output, product fit, and maintainable economics
design Produce the page-family, field, source, template, URL, link, quality, launch, measurement, and ownership contracts
audit Evaluate a live or proposed system for usefulness, duplication, empty states, integrity, discoverability, indexation, risk, downstream value, and maintenance

Name one primary mode. Keep demand evidence, page specification, generated candidate, published page, crawlable page, canonical page, indexed page, qualified visit, activated customer, retained value, and business outcome separate.

Freeze The System Boundary

Record decision and owner; customer, job, search intent, market, language, locale, device, product and business model; page family and entities; candidate source and known count; demand evidence and date; field sources and licenses; template and variant; URL rules; discovery and canonical rules; page states; product action and downstream value; capacity, cost, refresh, deletion, risk, rollout, and review date.

Start from an approved bounded candidate inventory or a reproducible generation rule. Do not invent demand, keywords, entities, locations, products, comparisons, prices, reviews, availability, attributes, URLs, market size, traffic, rank, conversion, or outcomes.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
