create-list

create-list is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from kudosity/gemini-kudosity-sms-extension. It costs 13 tokens per session (674 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for creating recipient lists and adding contacts in Kudosity, a service for sending text messages. It uses the platform's V1 API with API-key authentication.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create a named contact list, define custom fields, add recipients, and manage the list data needed for campaign sends.
Why use it?
It removes the need to construct the required web requests and authentication headers manually when preparing messaging campaigns.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00013 $0.00674
Opus 5 $0.00006 $0.00337
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00135
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00067

Security

Grade A, and why

create-list scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

What it actually says

Create Contact Lists & Add Contacts

You can create contact lists and add contacts using the Kudosity V1 API.

Authentication

All list operations use V1 Basic Auth:

  • Header: Authorization: Basic {credentials}
  • Credentials: base64 encode {KUDOSITY_API_KEY}:{KUDOSITY_API_SECRET}
  • The user must have KUDOSITY_API_KEY and KUDOSITY_API_SECRET environment variables set
  • If the user hasn't configured credentials, direct them to run /setup

API Details

  • Base URL: https://api.transmitsms.com
  • Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
  • All requests use curl commands with Basic Auth

Step 1: Create a List

Endpoint: POST /add-list.json

Required parameters:

  • name (string): A unique name for the list

Optional parameters:

  • field_1 through field_10: Custom field names (firstname and lastname are created by default)

Example curl command:

curl -s -X POST "https://api.transmitsms.com/add-list.json" \
  -u "${KUDOSITY_API_KEY}:${KUDOSITY_API_SECRET}" \
  -d "name=My Campaign List&field_1=email&field_2=postcode"

The response returns the list id — store this for adding contacts.

Step 2: Add Contacts to the List

Endpoint: POST /add-to-list.json

Required parameters:

  • list_id (integer): The list ID returned from Step 1
  • msisdn (string): Mobile number in E.164 international format

Optional parameters:

  • countrycode (string): 2-letter ISO country code (e.g., AU, US, GB, NZ) — auto-formats local numbers to international
  • first_name (string): Contact's first name
  • last_name (string): Contact's last name
  • field_1 through field_10: Values for custom fields defined on the list

Example curl command:

curl -s -X POST "https://api.transmitsms.com/add-to-list.json" \
  -u "${KUDOSITY_API_KEY}:${KUDOSITY_API_SECRET}" \
  -d "list_id=4213644&msisdn=0491570156&countrycode=AU&first_name=John&last_name=Doe&[email protected]"

Important Notes

  • If a contact already exists in the list, it will be ignored (not updated). Use /edit-list-member.json to update existing contacts.
  • Use the countrycode parameter to avoid formatting issues with local numbers.
  • The list can hold up to 10 custom fields beyond the default firstname and lastname.
  • Country code examples: Australia=AU, New Zealand=NZ, United Kingdom=GB, United States=US
  • Number format examples: AU local 0491570156 → international 61491570156

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

create-list is a skill published in the GitHub repository kudosity/gemini-kudosity-sms-extension (5 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 13 tokens to every session and 674 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
