A guide for adding a KX Dashboards dropdown or multi-select control, where users choose one or more items from a list. The choices can be fixed, loaded from data, or depend on another selection.

Use it for symbol, instrument, category, or filter selectors, including dependent dropdowns, grouped choices, and lists that publish selections to dashboard ViewStates.

It removes the need to work out the widget structure, data connection, and selected-value handling separately for each selector.
