singpass

singpass is a skill for Claude Code from kyleoliveiro/sg-gov-skills. It costs 200 tokens per session (3,247 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An integration guide for Singpass, Singapore's national digital identity, and Myinfo, its consent-based service for retrieving government-verified personal data.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding Singpass login or Myinfo data pre-filling to a Singapore government service, including the current authorization flow, required security features, and identity-data rules.
Why use it?
It explains how a public-facing service can use the current FAPI 2.0 authentication standard instead of building an unsafe sign-in flow by hand. FAPI 2.0 is a stricter security profile for OAuth and OpenID Connect.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00200 $0.03247
Opus 5 $0.00100 $0.01623
Sonnet 5 $0.00040 $0.00649
Haiku 4.5 $0.00020 $0.00325

Security

Grade A, and why

singpass scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (evals/files/singpass-auth.js), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Singpass: citizen login and Myinfo (v5) on FAPI 2.0

Singpass is Singapore's national digital identity — an OpenID Connect provider, authorization-code flow only, relying parties must be confidential clients. Two products ride on one API and one onboarding portal:

  • Singpass Login — authentication only. The flow ends at the ID token.
  • Singpass Myinfo (v5) — Login plus consented retrieval of government-verified person data from the /userinfo endpoint. Every Singpass user automatically has a Myinfo profile.

The current API is fully OIDC + FAPI 2.0 compliant (new apps are FAPI 2.0 by default since Feb 2026; all Singpass APIs must be FAPI 2.0-compliant by 31 Dec 2026). Use a certified OIDC relying-party library (openid.net certified list) rather than hand-rolling — Singpass says so explicitly, and the library gets PAR, PKCE, DPoP, and claim validation right for free. If you are maintaining a Myinfo v3/v4 integration or a pre-FAPI Login flow, read singpass-legacy — different endpoints, different crypto, hard deadlines.

The single most important identity fact: the ID token sub is a UUID, never the NRIC. NRIC/FIN arrives only if you request the justification-gated user.identity scope (sub_attributes.identity_number) or the uinfin Myinfo scope. Key your user records on the UUID; the PDPC NRIC advisory guidelines apply the moment you store NRIC instead.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
