What is langcare-clinical-summary?

A comprehensive patient-record summary that combines problems, medicines, allergies, laboratory results, vital signs, procedures, immunizations, and care plans. It is similar to a CCD, a standard-style summary for sharing a patient's health information.

It helps clinicians prepare for appointments, consultations, and chart reviews by presenting a broad view of the patient's recent and active care information.

It reduces the need to review many separate parts of a medical record before a visit or consultation.

When to Use This Skill

Use when a clinician needs a consolidated clinical overview of a patient spanning active problems, medications, allergies, recent labs, vitals, procedures, immunizations, and care plans -- analogous to a Continuity of Care Document (CCD).

Clinical Workflow

Use fhir_read to retrieve Patient demographics (name, DOB, age, gender, MRN)
Use fhir_search to pull active Condition resources for the problem list
Use fhir_search to pull active MedicationRequest resources for the medication list
Use fhir_search to pull active AllergyIntolerance resources
Use fhir_search to pull recent Observation resources (category=laboratory, last 90 days) and vital signs (last encounter)
