apdr-open-design

apdr-open-design is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from lazysheep-z/apdr-product-design-runtime. It costs 68 tokens per session (688 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A design workflow guide that connects OpenDesign ideas to APDR's interface design and review steps. It turns written design decisions into shared interface specifications and review reports.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to define colours, typography, layout, mood, and other design choices; record them in DESIGN.md and UIDesignSpec; and review direction, hierarchy, density, components, and accessibility before coding.
Why use it?
It keeps visual decisions in one approved record instead of letting prototypes or optional desktop tools become the source of truth. It also keeps private API keys out of the repository.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00068 $0.00688
Opus 5.5 $0.00027 $0.00275
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00138
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00069

Measured 3d ago against content hash 8161e2a9ed92, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

apdr-open-design scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

OpenDesign(APDR

ui_design 读 vendor/open-design/design-brief/SKILL.md,把 8 个设计维度落到 token,写入 UIDesignSpec
design_review 读 vendor/open-design/design-templates/critique.md,五维自评并入 DesignReviewReport

Workflow(ui_design)

  1. get_latest_artifact — Wireframes(及已批准的 PRD 摘要)
  4. 把 DESIGN.md 九节要点写入 UIDesignSpec(tokens、components、screens),文件可另存 projects/{id}/visual/DESIGN.md
  6. write_artifact → 等人明确批准

Workflow(design_review)

  3. 未通过则退回 ui_design(revise_artifact),不要跳到 codegen

Do not

  • 用 OpenDesign 产物跳过 approve_latest_artifact
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

apdr-open-design is a skill published in the GitHub repository lazysheep-z/apdr-product-design-runtime (3 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 68 tokens to every session and 688 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
