yd-handoff

yd-handoff is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from LeeYudok/doksam-skills. It costs 251 tokens per session (8,244 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A session handoff tool that records enough project state for another coding session to continue. It stores the handoff in a project issue when collaboration tools exist, or in HANDOFF.md when they do not.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when a session is ending mid-task or when handing work across an issue boundary. It records the current position and next steps in GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo, Jira, Plane, Slack, or a local file, as applicable.
Why use it?
Work can be interrupted before the next action is obvious. A structured handoff prevents important commands, decisions, and unfinished work from being lost or split across places.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00251 $0.08244
Opus 5.5 $0.00100 $0.03298
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00050 $0.01649
Haiku 4.5 $0.00025 $0.00824

Security

Grade A, and why

yd-handoff scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/check_handoff.py, tests/test_check_handoff.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

HANDOFF.yaml —

인프라 없음(파일 모드) 레포 루트 HANDOFF.yaml — HANDOFF.md 옆
레포에는 HANDOFF.yaml 을 만들지 않는다

  • 필수 키는 schema_version·meta·state·last_verification·next_steps 다.

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
