A bridge between an AI assistant and Blender, a 3D modeling and rendering application. It supports working with scenes, objects, materials, screenshots, and Python code inside Blender.

Use it to create or modify 3D objects and scenes, apply materials, inspect a scene, capture viewport screenshots, render work, or bring in assets from services such as PolyHaven and Sketchfab.

It reduces the need to perform every 3D editing and rendering action manually in Blender’s interface.

Manual Installation

Method 1: Install via Blender UI

Download addon/blender_mcp_addon.py from this skill directory
Open Blender → Edit → Preferences → Add-ons
Click "Install..." and select the addon file
Enable "Blender MCP" in the addon list
Find the BlenderMCP panel in 3D View sidebar (press N)
Click "Start Server" to begin listening on port 9876
