slide-deck-builder

slide-deck-builder is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from lfyxhappy/lfcode. It costs 54 tokens per session (319 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A presentation-building guide for creating or revising slide decks and checking their rendered appearance. It considers both the story told by the slides and layout problems that may appear after rendering.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to outline a deck, edit slides, reuse templates, add accessible text where supported, and inspect the final rendering. It can check different slide types, assets, dimensions, and required output formats.
Why use it?
It helps prevent overflowing text, clipped objects, missing fonts, poor contrast, broken links, and unsupported claims. It also keeps sources, speaker notes, open questions, and human review items distinguishable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00319
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00160
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00064
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

slide-deck-builder scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Slide Deck Builder

Build a coherent deck whose narrative and visual output both survive review.

Workflow

  1. Identify source decks, template or theme, audience, duration, aspect ratio, required slides, assets, and output format.
  2. Inspect layouts, masters, fonts, notes, charts, links, media, and existing slide dimensions. Reuse established components and styles where possible.
  3. Outline the narrative before editing. Keep claims, source notes, speaker guidance, and open questions distinguishable; do not invent data or citations.
  4. Create or modify slides with consistent hierarchy, readable text, aligned objects, meaningful alt text when supported, and sensible fallback for missing assets.
  5. Render the full deck and inspect title, dense, chart, image, transition, and final slides. Check for overflow, clipping, missing fonts, contrast, broken links, and unwanted blank slides.
  6. Report the output path, narrative changes, render checks, sources, and items requiring human review.

Boundaries

  • Do not overwrite the only source deck or fetch copyrighted or external assets without authorization.
  • Do not treat a successfully generated presentation as visually validated until it has been rendered or structurally checked.
  • Keep secrets and personal data out of slide notes, screenshots, logs, and examples.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
