A setup and usage guide for Aperture, a Lightning Network reverse proxy that places L402 payment checks in front of web services. L402 is a protocol for requiring payment before an API or other online content can be accessed.

Creating L402 paywalls, protecting paid API endpoints, hosting content that other agents can buy, and testing payment-based access flows.

It helps you add paid access to a service without building the payment-checking proxy yourself. It also provides a way to test whether L402 authentication works.
