preset-skill-anthropic

preset-skill-anthropic is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Lingtai-AI/lingtai. It costs 39 tokens per session (959 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Configuration guidance for the built-in Anthropic-compatible text-generation provider in a terminal interface. It explains API keys, model names, optional service URLs, web search, and the difference between this route and Claude Code login.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to configure or revise the Anthropic-compatible preset, including pointing it at Anthropic, another compatible vendor, a relay, or a local proxy.
Why use it?
It prevents confusing an API-key connection with a separate command-line login and helps requests reach the intended compatible service. It also documents which settings belong to this provider preset.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00039 $0.00959
Opus 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00384
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00192
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00096

Security

Grade A, and why

preset-skill-anthropic scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 76 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

anthropic preset (Anthropic-compatible)

Use this child for the built-in anthropic template (display "Anthropic-compatible") and for any saved preset whose provider is anthropic. anthropicPreset in tui/internal/preset/preset.go ships provider anthropic, an empty model, api_key_env ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, and base_url null, with web_search on DuckDuckGo, vision inheriting the agent's own provider, and the skills default. It is an API-key route; the Claude Code CLI login is the separate claude preset (reference/claude/SKILL.md).

Template-specific settings

  • base_url — optional. Empty means the official Anthropic API (https://api.anthropic.com). Set it to any Anthropic Messages-compatible endpoint (another vendor's /anthropic route, a relay, or a local proxy). The value excludes the version path: requests go to {base_url}/v1/messages.
  • api_key_env — the env-var name holding the key (default ANTHROPIC_API_KEY). Editing and saving the template stamps a fresh per-preset slot (ANTHROPIC_1_API_KEY, ...). The key is sent as x-api-key.
  • model — free text. Use a model ID the configured endpoint serves: for the official API read the Anthropic models documentation (or an authenticated GET {base_url}/v1/models); for another vendor read that vendor's documentation. Save refuses an empty model.
  • thinking — standard reasoning effort: none, minimal, low, medium, high, xhigh, or omitted (the kernel default); the adapter maps a level to an extended-thinking budget.

There is no wire_api or service_tier on this family. A vendor that only exposes an OpenAI-compatible endpoint uses reference/openai/SKILL.md.

TUI surfaces to revise

Start at anthropicPreset in tui/internal/preset/preset.go. In tui/internal/tui/preset_editor.go anthropic has no providerModels entry (free-text model), base_url is free text with the official endpoint shown when empty, levelThinkingOptions drives the reasoning row, and the service tier and wire rows are hidden. /doctor probes this family with GET {base_url}/v1/models (x-api-key + anthropic-version) and one max_tokens=1 Messages call (probeLLM in tui/internal/tui/doctor.go).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
