linkfox-geekbi-temu-market-research

linkfox-geekbi-temu-market-research is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from linkfox-ai/linkfox-skills. It costs 135 tokens per session (3,155 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A market-research tool for studying public Temu marketplace data. It finds promising product categories and buyer search terms, then compares demand, sales, prices, competition, and trends.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps with Temu category research, keyword research, blue-ocean opportunity checks, and daily, weekly, or monthly demand-trend analysis.
Why use it?
It removes the need to collect and compare these Temu signals by hand when deciding what categories or search terms may have demand.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00135 $0.03155
Opus 5.5 $0.00054 $0.01262
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00027 $0.00631
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00315

Security

Grade A, and why

linkfox-geekbi-temu-market-research scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 5 executable files (scripts/geekbi_temu_category_list.py, scripts/geekbi_temu_category_search.py, scripts/geekbi_temu_keyword_search.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Temu Category & Keyword Demand Research

This skill researches Temu category opportunities and buyer-demand keywords from public marketplace data. Use only the endpoints needed for the user's request, and read references/api.md for the full request and response contract.

The site-list and category-list endpoints are helper capabilities. A helper-only request must not auto-select this skill unless the user explicitly invokes it or the skill is already active.

Core Concepts

  • regionId selects the marketplace. Resolve it from a non-null positive sites[].regionId; never substitute siteId. The gateway default is regionId: 211 (United States).
  • dsr is a supply-demand signal, not a standalone go/no-go score. Cross-check demand scale, recent growth, item/shop supply, and price.
  • Search responses are paginated items[]. Defaults are page: 1 and size: 20; size is 1–200 and page * size must not exceed 10,000. order has no gateway default; when supplied, it must be asc or desc (case-insensitive).
  • Range filters are limited to dsr, totalSold, avgPrice, totalSales, itemCount, and mallCount, each with Min / Max. Never make a minimum greater than its maximum; all except dsr must be non-negative.
  • Use site/category helpers only when the user has not supplied a valid ID. Stop if no unambiguous ID is returned.
  • Do not launch a paid search merely to answer a site-list or category-tree request.

Request

  • Category research uses keyword to compare market capacity and competition. Use the separate category-list helper with parentCatId when a trusted category tree must be traversed; categorySearch itself does not accept catLevel or parentCatId.
  • Use keyword for a Chinese or English category name. catLevel and parentCatId are response/helper concepts, not categorySearch request fields.
  • Filter or rank broad demand with totalSold; use dsr for candidate discovery. Treat monthSoldRate and monthSalesRate as response fields for recent-growth analysis, not as range-filter request fields.
  • itemCount and mallCount can be filtered with Min/Max fields. Period *ItemCount and *MallCount values are response-only changes and can be negative.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
