linkfox-sif-compliance-detection

linkfox-sif-compliance-detection is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from linkfox-ai/linkfox-skills. It costs 90 tokens per session (2,744 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that searches for registered design patents with a product image and returns similar-looking candidates. It can filter candidates by region, classification, source, title, and legal status, but it does not decide whether infringement occurred.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to screen product images for possible design-registration matches, inspect their sources and classifications, and prepare candidates for human review.
Why use it?
Visual similarity results are only evidence for review, and missing or pending information must not be treated as a definite status. Keeping the search and its coverage separate supports a careful legal assessment.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00090 $0.02744
Opus 5.5 $0.00036 $0.01098
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00549
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00274

Security

Grade A, and why

linkfox-sif-compliance-detection scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/ec_dw_design_similar_search.py, scripts/onboarding.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SIF Design Patent Detection

SIF design patent detection currently provides design-similarity search from a product image. Present the source's matching evidence and coverage for candidate review; do not issue an infringement verdict.

Core Concepts

  • Supply exactly one image source: imageUrl or imageBase64. A title supplements the image and cannot replace it. Image and title searches use separate modalities; their raw scores must not be added.
  • topK defaults to 20 and accepts 1–200. Candidate count does not determine the user's price.
  • regions uses ISO-2 identifiers such as CN/US/EM; the upstream source uses EU where this input uses EM. jurisdictionCodes uses source identifiers such as USID/EMID. When both filters are supplied, their intersection applies.
  • topLoc filters two-digit Locarno prefixes; locarnoClasses filters full NN-NN codes. Missing classification remains unknown; do not remove such candidates yourself.
  • patentStatus is an optional integer array: [0], [1] or [0,1]. Omission adds no status preference. Preserve returned unknown/pending status and coverage; do not infer whether those rows were included or excluded, or refilter them locally.
  • Current upstream coverage includes an independent CN scope. Determine usable coverage and loading gaps from returned coverage and warnings; do not assume every jurisdiction has equal coverage or hardcode dataset counts.
  • The backend handles upstream signing and credentials. The skill sends only business parameters and a LinkFox gateway Key.

Data Fields

Check both the gateway errcode (200 on success) and upstream data.code (OK on success). Candidates are at data.data.candidates, with source coverage and warnings alongside them. Candidate fields may be missing or null; omission and null both mean an unknown source fact. The full envelope, optional processing metadata and field types are documented in references/api.md.

Candidate fields Use
design_registration_id, primary_identifier, application_number, registration_number, publication_number Source identifiers for follow-up review
registration_jurisdiction_code, jurisdiction_iso2, locarno_classes Source jurisdiction and classification; do not interchange the two jurisdiction fields
title, title_en, title_language, title_en_source Returned title, language and English-title provenance; do not invent translations
holder_names, designer_names Source holder and designer information
image_score, text_score, similarity, matched_modality Separate raw modality scores and the source's 0–100 similarity conversion; similarity is not a probability
simple_legal_status, registration_date, application_date, publication_date Source status and YYYY-MM-DD dates, when returned
image_available Image availability hint; it does not supply an image URL

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

linkfox-sif-compliance-detection is a skill published in the GitHub repository linkfox-ai/linkfox-skills (109 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 90 tokens to every session and 2,744 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-15.
