pseo-templates

pseo-templates is a skill for Claude Code from lisbeth718/pseo-skills. It costs 81 tokens per session (4,516 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A method for building programmatic SEO pages: pages generated from structured data and dynamic URL routes. It focuses on making each page distinct, useful, and matched to a specific search purpose.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create dynamic routes, page templates, headings, descriptions, FAQs, and structured data for many differentiated pages.
Why use it?
It helps prevent large sets of automatically generated pages from becoming repetitive or too thin to be useful.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00081 $0.04516
Opus 5.5 $0.00032 $0.01806
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00903
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00452

Security

Grade A, and why

pseo-templates scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

- Verify with `curl -I` that missing slugs return `404`, not `200`.

pSEO Page Templates

Build page templates that produce unique, intent-matched content at scale through dynamic routing and structured data rendering.

Core Principles

  1. One template, many unique pages: Templates are content-agnostic shells that render data
  2. No thin pages: Every generated page must have substantial, differentiated content that adds real, unique value. Do not create pages for query variations.
  3. Intent matching: Each page targets a specific search intent derived from its data
  4. Semantic HTML: Use correct heading hierarchy, landmarks, and elements
  5. Progressive enhancement: Pages work without JavaScript

Scope parameter

page-type names the template to build. Scope: routes = section 1, structure = sections 2 and 4-5, content = sections 3 and 3a, status = sections 6, 6a and 6b, hubs = section 7, eeat = section 8, images = section 9, all (default) = everything.

Implementation Steps

1. Set Up Dynamic Routes

Create dynamic route segments using the framework's routing system:

Next.js App Router:

app/
  [category]/
    page.tsx # category hub page
    [slug]/
      page.tsx # individual pSEO page

Next.js Pages Router:

pages/
  [category]/
    index.tsx
    [slug].tsx

Implement generateStaticParams (App Router) or getStaticPaths (Pages Router) using the data layer's getAllSlugs().

Next.js 16.4.x notes (>= 16.4.1 for security fixes; current stable 16.4.3):

  • params and searchParams are Promises; always await them.
  • middleware.ts is renamed proxy.ts (Node.js runtime) in Next.js 16.
  • Cache Components (cacheComponents: true in next config, "use cache" directive): caching is opt-in and dynamic is the default. It is recommended for all apps and on by default in create-next-app from 16.4; Next.js 17 is announced to make it the default.
  • With Cache Components, generateStaticParams must return at least one param; an empty array is a build error. Return a few seed params and let the rest render on demand. A placeholder param plus notFound() is the documented workaround when you have none.
  • Without Cache Components, generateStaticParams can return [] for runtime ISR of all paths, and dynamicParams = false makes unlisted params 404. It is not re-run during ISR revalidation.
  • export const ensureStatic = 'navigation' | 'prefetch' | 'shell' (16.4) requires cacheComponents. Only 'navigation' adds build validation (fails the build on dynamic content) and it requires generateStaticParams to return every param. 'shell' and 'prefetch' add no build validation. With seeded params (rest on demand), do not claim it validates anything.
  • Do not prerender huge sets at build: Vercel build time is capped at 45 minutes per deployment. Prerender seed pages and use ISR or on-demand rendering for the rest.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

pseo-templates is a skill published in the GitHub repository lisbeth718/pseo-skills (55 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 81 tokens to every session and 4,516 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
