Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00031 | $0.02678 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00015 | $0.01339 |

Grade A, and why
dotnet-nuget-proxy scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

.NET in the Claude Code Web Environment
This skill provides everything needed to get .NET working in a Claude Code web session, including SDK installation and NuGet proxy authentication.
When to Use This Skill
Use this skill whenever the user wants to:
- Install the .NET SDK in a Claude Code web session
- Run
dotnet restore,dotnet build,dotnet run, ordotnet new - Fix 401/407 proxy authentication errors from NuGet
- Create a new .NET project in the web environment
- Troubleshoot any .NET or NuGet connectivity issues
Automatic Setup via SessionStart Hook
For projects that use .NET regularly, a SessionStart hook can automatically install the SDK and configure the proxy when a Claude Code web session starts. This means dotnet restore just works from the first command.
To set this up in a project, add to .claude/settings.json:
{
"hooks": {
"SessionStart": [
{
"matcher": "startup",
"hooks": [
{
"type": "command",
"command": "bash \"$CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR\"/.claude/plugins/dotnet-nuget-proxy-skill/hooks/session-start.sh"
}
]
}
]
}
}
The path above assumes the plugin was cloned to .claude/plugins/dotnet-nuget-proxy-skill/. Adjust if installed elsewhere. Ensure the hook script is executable (chmod +x).
The hook checks CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE internally and:
- Only runs in Claude Code web sessions (exits immediately on desktop)
- Installs .NET SDK from
packages.microsoft.comif not present - Compiles and installs the credential provider
- Starts the proxy daemon
- Persists the
dotnet()shell function and_NUGET_UPSTREAM_PROXYvia$CLAUDE_ENV_FILE
Manual Decision Flow
Follow these steps in order when the user wants to use .NET (if no SessionStart hook is configured):
Step 1: Detect required .NET version from the project
IMPORTANT: Before installing any .NET SDK, check the project's .csproj or .sln files to determine the required version:

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

dotnet-nuget-proxy is a skill published in the GitHub repository logiclabs/dotnet-nuget-proxy-skill (12 stars, last pushed 7mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 31 tokens to every session and 2,678 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
