bug-review

bug-review is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from logiscape/mcp-sdk-php. It costs 24 tokens per session (191 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A bug-checking workflow for deciding whether a reported problem is a real bug or a code-quality issue. It considers the project's goals and the official MCP specification, a set of rules for connecting AI tools and applications.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when someone reports a possible bug in the SDK. It helps assess the report and plan a low-risk fix that supports PHP 8.1+, cPanel/Apache hosting, and MCP compliance.
Why use it?
It helps separate genuine problems from expected behaviour and keeps proposed fixes aligned with both the project and its compatibility requirements.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00024 $0.00191
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00096
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00038
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00019

Measured 4d ago against content hash ca69af44068b, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

bug-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

A possible (but unverified) bug has been reported in the SDK. Please carefully evaluate if this is a legitimate bug or code quality issue. If there is uncertainty related to alignment with the MCP spec, search the web for the latest version 2026-07-28 of the official MCP spec to clarify. If identified as a legitimate bug or code quality issue, enter plan mode and carefully plan a fix that minimizes risk of introducing regressions or breaking changes while maintaining these two core goals of the SDK: The SDK MUST be capable of running in a standard cPanel/Apache/PHP web hosting environment using PHP 8.1+. The SDK should aim for strict compliance with the official MCP spec, unless an alternate approach is absolutely necessary for compatibility with a standard cPanel/Apache web server.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
