What is infostil-redaktura?

A Russian-language writing and editing skill based on the information-style method of Ilyakhov and Sarycheva. It focuses on making business and informational text clearer, shorter, and more useful to its reader.

It is for editing or writing websites, interfaces, documentation, announcements, business messages, and other practical text in Russian.

It helps remove vague wording, unnecessary text, complex structure, and office jargon that make writing hard to understand.

Метод применяется к информационному тексту для мотивированного читателя: сайты, соцсети, интерфейсы, документация, пресс-релизы, реклама, рабочие документы, деловая переписка. Художественный текст методом не правится — источник прямо выводит его за границы.

Ядро метода

Держи в голове постоянно, на любой фазе работы.

Полезное действие вперёд всего. Первый вопрос к любому тексту — не «что я хочу сказать», а «Почему читатель сам захочет прочитать этот текст?». Ответ «чтобы проинформировать» не принимается: «Читатель не хочет быть информированным просто так». Если полезного действия нет, редактура слов ничего не спасёт.
Сначала для читателя, потом для себя. Текст служит задаче читателя, а не самолюбию автора. «Ответ «Для всех» не принимается»: чем шире аудитория, тем слабее текст. Выбирается одна группа с понятными болями — под неё и собирается материал.
Правка идёт по уровням, и направление зависит от сценария. Уровни: полезное действие → слова → предложения → абзацы → структура → подача. «Если текст написан, имеет смысл начать со слов и двигаться вверх». Если текст только собираются писать, «то начнем со структуры» и наполним её вниз до слов. Уровень пользы проверяется первым в обоих случаях — «Порядок начинается с ответа на вопросы «Для кого я пишу?»…», и «С этого стоило бы начать» (гл. «Уровни работы с текстом»).
Сократи и наполни. Удаление стоп-слов делает текст чище, но не полезнее. «Тогда вместо удаленного мусора добавляем полезное». Пустой сокращённый текст — не результат. И обратное: «мы никогда не удаляем что-то из текста просто так» — у каждого удаления должна быть причина.
Не оценка, а факт, сценарий или демонстрация. «Факты сильнее оценок». Прилагательное-оценка («качественный», «надёжный», «эффективный») заменяется на то, что можно вписать в договор, на историю применения или на показ. Читатель должен прийти к выводу сам.
Пиши о людях и событиях, показывай кино. В предложении нужен герой, который совершает действие: «Показывайте кино. В предложении нужны действующие лица и действия». Отглагольное — в глаголы, страдательный залог — в действительный, абстракция — в формулу «человек делает так».
