contract-review: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/review-domain-knowledge/SKILL.md

review-domain-knowledge is a skill for Claude Code from lowtidebuild/contract-review. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,557 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of rules and reference material for reviewing and drafting contracts, including how to classify documents, assess risks, write comments, and generate contract text.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps review contracts, grade risks, separate internal from external content, and draft agreements using specified rules, including Korean-law guidelines.
Why use it?
It gives the coding agent a defined way to handle contract work and apply the project's own review standards instead of relying only on general knowledge.

This is lowtidebuild/contract-review's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on contract-review itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything contract-review configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01557
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00779
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00311
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00156

Security

Grade A, and why

review-domain-knowledge scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/validate-audience-firewall.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

review-domain-knowledge Skill

Domain knowledge for contract review and drafting: classification, analysis, comment generation, and contract generation.

References

Detailed domain knowledge is in the references/ directory:

  • domain-policy.md — Folder schema, ingestion policy, document lifecycle
  • review-guide.md — Review judgment criteria, risk grading, analysis methodology
  • audience-firewall.md — External/internal content separation rules
  • drafting-guide.md — Contract generation checklists, Korean law baselines, drafting rules

CRITICAL: Reference Files Are Loaded via Forced-Load Protocol (v2.2)

The reference files above are not background context you should recall from training. They are the authoritative source of user-customized judgment criteria, risk baselines, and firewall rules. They WILL diverge from your pretrained knowledge.

For the review workflow, reference files are loaded via the Domain Reference Forced-Load Architecture:

  1. Hook path (primary): .claude/hooks/inject-domain-references.sh detects review workflow keywords in the user prompt and injects a [BLOCKING PRECONDITION] instruction telling the LLM to run bash .claude/scripts/load-domain-references.sh review --mode=digest as its first action. The digest verifies hashes and available headings; the agent loads specific sections on demand with --mode=section.

  2. AGENT.md fallback (secondary): review-agent/AGENT.md Pre-Pipeline 0 uses the explicit CONTRACT_REVIEW_SESSION_ID / pipeline-state session id and runs the digest loader itself if the root hook path did not provide a usable trace. Do not discover traces by recency.

  3. Forensic trace: Every loader invocation writes loaded.json (mode + byte_size + sha256 + headings + session_id). compile-report.js reads this at Step 10 and appends a Baselines applied: ... line to the Executive Summary. If the trace is missing, a review-invalid warning is appended instead.

Do not cite the four-lens framework, Common Law baselines, jurisdiction flags, or EPC block from training. Cite them only after the relevant reference section has been loaded by load-domain-references.sh --mode=section or, when necessary, --mode=full. A digest alone proves availability; it is not a substitute for section text during substantive analysis.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
