public-equity-research: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/briefing-generator/SKILL.md

briefing-generator is a skill for Claude Code from lowtidebuild/public-equity-research. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,648 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A report generator for Mode A financial analyses. It reads structured analysis results and creates a self-contained HTML quick briefing for a company or stock.

In plain words
What is it for?
Build reports containing company details, price data, a rating, key metrics, bull/base/bear scenarios, risks, catalysts, a thesis, signals, and timelines.
Why use it?
It turns analysis data into a consistent report without requiring you to assemble the page manually.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01648
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00824
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00330
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00165

Measured 12d ago against content hash 902088e73559, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

briefing-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/render-briefing.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Briefing Generator — SKILL.md

Role: Step 8 (Mode A) — Generate the Mode A Quick Briefing HTML file from analysis-result.json. Triggered by: CLAUDE.md after Analyst Agent (Step 7) completes for Mode A Reads: run-local analysis-result.json Writes: output/reports/{ticker}_A_{lang}_{YYYY-MM-DD}.html References: references/analysis-framework-briefing.md, references/html-template.md (this directory), scripts/render-briefing.py

Instructions

Step 8A.1 — Load Analysis Data

Read run-local analysis-result.json. Extract:

  • ticker, company_name, exchange, market, currency
  • price_at_analysis, price_day_change, price_day_change_pct
  • analysis_date, data_mode, output_language
  • rr_score, verdict
  • key_metrics (top 3 for company type)
  • scenarios (bull/base/bear)
  • top_risks[0] (first risk only)
  • upcoming_catalysts[0] (nearest catalyst)
  • sections.one_line_thesis
  • sections.action_signal
  • sections.timeline_past (array of past events)
  • sections.timeline_future (array of future events)
  • sections.pattern_detection (optional)

Step 8A.2 — Generate HTML

Build a self-contained HTML file using TailwindCSS via CDN. Structure:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="{lang}">
<head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>{ticker} Quick Briefing — {date}</title>

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
