What is localsend-cli?

A command-line tool for sending and receiving files between devices on the same local network, compatible with the LocalSend app.

Use it to find LocalSend peers, send files to a device IP, or start a one-time file-receiving server.

It gives coding agents a non-interactive way to discover nearby devices and transfer files, with machine-readable output.

Before running

Install the prebuilt binary (don't compile from source — agents don't need a Rust toolchain). Auto-detects arch and OS:
