submission-qa

submission-qa is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from lucasmaher-hash/touch-designer-mcp. It costs 80 tokens per session (858 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of submission-qa, MIT.

A verification checklist for a submission package containing documentation and a bundled MCP add-on. It checks the actual build outputs and requirements before a person submits the package.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build the docs, create and inspect the .mcpb bundle, validate its manifest, find stale .dxt references, and compare the submission answers with the requirements.
Why use it?
It reduces the chance of rejection caused by missing privacy information, broken documentation, invalid bundles, or leftover references to old formats.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00080 $0.00858
Opus 5 $0.00040 $0.00429
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00172
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00086

Security

Grade A, and why

submission-qa scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 50 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Submission QA — verify by executing

The cost of a miss is a ~2-week rejection cycle. So every gate is checked by running something and quoting the output, never by reading a builder's claim. "Looks complete" is not a result; a command transcript is.

Gate checklist

Produce a table gate | PASS/FAIL | evidence. Gates:

Gate How to verify
Privacy page exists + linked Open the page file(s); confirm the nav entry in docs/.vitepress/config.ts points to its clean URL. Confirm the page actually states the data-handling story (not a stub).
Docs build npm run docs:build exits 0. VitePress fails on dead internal links, so this also catches a bad nav link.
Bundle builds npm run build then npm run build:mcpb (or the renamed script). Confirm tdmcp.mcpb is emitted.
Bundle is valid unzip -l tdmcp.mcpb shows manifest.json at root + dist/. If npx --yes @anthropic-ai/mcpb validate exists, run it on the manifest and capture the result.
No stale refs grep -rn "\.dxt|build:dxt" docs/ scripts/ README.md package.json .github/ 2>/dev/null (exclude dist/, node_modules/). Every hit must be an intentional legacy note.
Annotations intact `grep -rEo "readOnlyHint
Form completeness Every field in 00_submission-spec.md's field map has an answer in 02_form-answers.md or an explicit NEEDS HUMAN INPUT. List the human inputs.
Manifest sane node -e "JSON.parse(require('fs').readFileSync('dxt/manifest.json'))" parses; manifest_version, name, version, server.entry_point present.

Report format

Write _workspace/03_qa-report.md:

  1. Gate table (above) with command output as evidence.
  2. Blocking issues — anything FAIL. Each with the exact file:line or command and what the owner (docs-author / bundle-engineer) must change.
  3. Non-blocking nits — cosmetic / nice-to-have.
  4. Needs human before submit — every NEEDS HUMAN INPUT (support email, privacy contact, test account, new release to publish the .mcpb asset).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
