Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00165 | $0.03232 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00082 | $0.01616 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00033 | $0.00646 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00016 | $0.00323 |
Grade A, and why
script-cut scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 162 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
script-cut — text-based editing with forced alignment
The idea (say it back to yourself before using it)
You edit in Premiere by looking at the audio track and the words. This automates exactly that:
- Script — the exact clean words you want the clip to say.
- Find — forced-align that script to the audio so you know where every word physically is.
- Cut — keep the word-spans, cut everything in between.
"Everything in between" is silence AND junk (fillers, false starts, restarts). Junk is never in the script, so it lives in the gaps between kept words and gets cut automatically. You never surgically remove errors after the fact — you only keep the words you chose, so errors can't leak through.
This is text-based editing (how Descript works), done with a real forced aligner so it's frame-honest.
Why align the FULL transcript, not just the clean script
A forced aligner cannot skip unscripted audio — it absorbs a stumble into a neighbouring word's boundary, inflating that word's span so the stumble rides along in the cut. So: align the faithful transcript (every word, incl. fillers/restarts), then KEEP only the curated subset and cut the rest. The kept words land on their true positions; the junk stays in the cut gaps.
Run it
# 1) one-time: install the toolchain (MFA + a python venv with numpy + num2words)
bash ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/script-cut/scripts/setup_toolchain.sh
# 2) cut: produces <out>/cut_spec.json (precise, in SOURCE seconds)
"$VENV/bin/python" ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/script-cut/scripts/script_cut.py \
--source SOURCE.mp4 \
--transcript words.json \ # word-level transcript: {"segments":[{"words":[{word,start,end}]}]} etc
--spec structure.json \ # {"segments":[{"in":sec,"out":sec, "n":1?, "cat":"LABEL"?}]} = rough marks
--out OUTDIR \
--gap 0.20 # cut any inter-kept-word gap >= this; bigger = keep longer pauses
# 3) render cut_spec.json with whatever renderer you use, e.g. for a numbered listicle short:
python ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/listicle-short/scripts/build_short.py \
--source SOURCE.mp4 --spec OUTDIR/cut_spec.json --music TRACK.mp3 \
--res 1080 --grade --per-seg --eye-lock --out RENDERDIR/
# 4) EAR-TEST IT YOURSELF (never hand QC to the user):
"$VENV/bin/python" ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/script-cut/scripts/qc_ears.py --clip RENDER.mp4 --spec OUTDIR/cut_spec.json
"$VENV/bin/python" ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/script-cut/scripts/qc_clips.py --clip RENDER.mp4 --spec OUTDIR/cut_spec.json \
--transcript RENDER_words.json # the render's OWN transcript = ground truth of what it actually says
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
- 9d ago First seen · 162 lines · 165 tokens per session scan A 31a2b6fcc1c1
script-cut is a skill published in the GitHub repository maddexritter-rgb/vibe-editing (7 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 165 tokens to every session and 3,232 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
