cmd_hookify_list

cmd_hookify_list is a skill for Claude Code from majiang213/OpenClaw-MAS. It costs 15 tokens per session (259 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project command that lists all configured OpenClaw hooks and shows whether each one is enabled, which events it handles, and what it does.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review local and registered hooks, their status, and their event assignments.
Why use it?
It makes the project's automation rules visible in one place instead of requiring developers to inspect each hook directory manually.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00015 $0.00259
Opus 5 $0.00008 $0.00130
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00052
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00026

Security

Grade A, and why

cmd_hookify_list scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Project Path

The first argument is the project path. Before doing anything else:

  1. Extract the project path from the first argument
  2. Verify the path exists
  3. Work within that directory for all file operations and shell commands

Hookify List

Display all OpenClaw hooks configured for this project.

Steps

  1. Run openclaw hooks list to get all registered hooks
  2. Also scan <project-path>/.openclaw/hooks/ for local hook directories
  3. For each hook, read its HOOK.md to extract: name, description, events, enabled status
  4. Display as a table:
Hook Enabled Events Description
  1. Show total count and remind the user:
    • openclaw hooks enable <name> — enable a hook
    • openclaw hooks disable <name> — disable a hook
    • /skill cmd_hookify_configure <path> — toggle hooks interactively
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
