order-exception-to-reviewed-update

order-exception-to-reviewed-update is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from manishiitg/coding-agent-loop. It costs 28 tokens per session (701 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An order-exception workflow that investigates one problem with an order or shipment and prepares a customer update for review. It keeps carrier events, refunds, drafted messages, sent messages, and resolution as separate states.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to investigate a paid order with a fulfilment or shipping problem, assign an owner action, and prepare a case-linked unsent customer message.
Why use it?
It reduces confusion across order, payment, fulfilment, carrier, and support records. A drafted message is not treated as sent, and a delivery event is not treated as a resolved case.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00028 $0.00701
Opus 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00280
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00140
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00070

Security

Grade A, and why

order-exception-to-reviewed-update scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/test_validate_handoff.py, scripts/validate_handoff.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Order Exception to Reviewed Update

Outcome

Turn one cross-system order exception into a sourced owner action and a case-linked customer update for review. A label, carrier acceptance, delivery, refund, drafted message, sent message and resolution are distinct observed states.

When to use

Use for a paid order with a fulfillment or shipment exception when the business has an exact support case, current order/payment/fulfillment/carrier sources, contact policy and accountable owners. This route works with authorized commerce or ERP records; it is not Shopify-specific. Start with one manual case.

Discovery and user direction

Inspect existing Operations and Support Crews, source access, order and case revisions, prior contact, owners and promises. Propose reuse or reviewed creation. Show the exact route before Builder applies it; selection leaves setup pending.

Required inputs

Bind business, order, payment, fulfillment, shipment, customer and case IDs; promised time and time zone; source revisions; current contact; exception and approval policies; and recipient/channel if an update is appropriate.

Plan and AgentWorks tools

Reuse Order Operations Coordinator and Support Reply Drafter. Operations writes order-exception/v1 from current sources; add a blocking scripted validator step before Support consumes its exact path. Support re-reads the case, policy and source state, then writes order-customer-update-review/v1 with an unsent draft or no-message decision. Validate the pair before showing it as a reviewed handoff. Any customer send, refund, reship or order write requires a separate exact approval, current-state recheck and provider receipt.

Knowledge and persistence

Save business/order/case IDs, source revisions and times, stable exception/action key, prior contact, artifact IDs, run/validator IDs, owner decisions and later provider receipts. Re-read order, carrier and case state on every retry; skip superseded or duplicate work.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
