product-launch-readiness-to-go-no-go

product-launch-readiness-to-go-no-go is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from manishiitg/coding-agent-loop. It costs 31 tokens per session (699 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Shopify product-launch checklist for one product, market, and sales channel, ending in a reviewed go or no-go decision. It checks the product, price, stock, media, publication, and buyer journey.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check one product and variant before publication, identify missing launch requirements, and verify what buyers can see after release.
Why use it?
A product can be complete in the catalog but still fail for shoppers or be published to the wrong place. This records evidence before launch and proof after publishing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00699
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00280
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00140
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00070

Security

Grade A, and why

product-launch-readiness-to-go-no-go scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/test_validate_handoff.py, scripts/validate_handoff.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Product Launch Readiness to Go/No-Go

Outcome

Produce a sourced product readiness check, an observed buyer-journey check, a merchant go/no-go decision, and post-publish proof when a launch occurs.

When to use

Use before publishing one product and variant to one market or channel. Run a separate artifact per item in a larger launch wave; aggregate only after item-level checks.

Discovery and user direction

Inspect existing Crews, product/variant records, inventory and price authority, Publication, approved preview or public page, target buyer, launch standards, and owner. Propose reuse or creation and show the plan before Builder applies it. Selection copies pending SETUP.json and publishes nothing.

Required inputs

Bind store, market, launch, product, variant, Publication ID, currency, target time, merchant standards, buyer task, and publish owner. State any missing preview or source access.

Plan and AgentWorks tools

Reuse or propose Catalog & Merchandising Analyst and Shopify Growth Analyst. Builder may use create_crew with stable keys. Catalog checks fields, price, inventory or preorder rule, media, and publication and emits launch-catalog-readiness/v1. Validate with scripts/validate_handoff.py --catalog-only <catalog.json> before Growth reads it. Growth tests the authorized preview or public buyer path, emits launch-storefront-decision/v1, and validates the pair. A go review requires no catalog blockers and a passing journey. Show the exact publish action and owner decision. A separate authorized route publishes; re-read Publication and storefront before reporting verified.

Knowledge and persistence

Save store, market, launch, product, variant, publication, action, approval, provider receipt, and retest IDs. Preserve source times, blocker decisions, target time, and prior publication state. Re-read before repeat or publish.

Validation and reporting

The validator checks item identity, blockers, go-review eligibility, approval, and receipts. The fictional catalog check and journey decision pass; the invalid go/publish claim fails. The reporting dashboard shows blocked, pending review, approved, published, verified, and unknown states with sources and cost. Structure checks cannot prove actual shopper reachability.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
