work-schedules-and-bots

work-schedules-and-bots is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from manishiitg/coding-agent-loop. It costs 67 tokens per session (3,571 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Work scheduling and integration skill for recurring messages, webhook triggers, chat bots, and connected Gmail accounts. A webhook is an HTTP request that starts work when an outside event occurs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to schedule recurring work, connect API triggers, route Slack or WhatsApp bot messages, send email notifications, or read Gmail.
Why use it?
It brings scheduled and event-driven tasks, chat notifications, and email access into a project instead of requiring each trigger to be handled manually.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00067 $0.03571
Opus 5.5 $0.00027 $0.01428
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00714
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00357

Security

Grade A, and why

work-schedules-and-bots scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 20d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Crew schedules and bots

Project schedules

  • A Crew schedule contains exactly one message sent to this project's Builder conversation. It is not an AgentWorks workflow, route, phase, or execution.
  • Use list_project_schedules before updating, deleting, or triggering. Use the exact returned schedule ID.
  • For creation, provide a clear name, one complete message, a standard five-field cron expression, and an IANA timezone such as Asia/Kolkata. Enable it by default unless the user asks to save it paused.
  • Use trigger_project_schedule only when the user asks to run it now. Report the resulting session without inventing a workflow run.

Project webhook triggers

  • A Crew webhook trigger contains one saved instruction. Each authenticated JSON delivery sends that instruction into this project's durable Builder conversation together with the workspace-relative payload file path.
  • Use list_project_triggers before updating or deleting a trigger. Use the exact returned trigger ID.
  • Use create_project_trigger with a clear name, one complete instruction, and either bearer or github authentication. Return the generated endpoint and one-time secret immediately; the secret cannot be listed later.
  • Rotating a secret invalidates the old credential. Never write a trigger secret or raw delivery payload into workflow.json, chat instructions, logs, or source files.
  • Crew triggers do not select or execute AgentWorks routes, steps, phases, Pulse, or workflow runs. Use an AgentWorks workflow webhook when those orchestration semantics are required.

Project-chat bots

Slack and WhatsApp bot connections use the shared AgentWorks connector infrastructure, but their route target is this Crew project chat. Configuration is in Setup > Bots. If no bot-management tool is available in the current turn, explain the exact UI location rather than pretending a route was created. Bot messages inherit this project's workspace boundary, selected skills, MCP servers, and available secrets.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
