mcp-flutter-apk-injector: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/hermes-apk-reverse-engineering/SKILL.md

hermes-apk-reverse-engineering is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from MarwanDevSpace/mcp-flutter-apk-injector. It costs 34 tokens per session (921 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for examining and modifying authorized Android application packages, or APKs. An APK is the installable file used to distribute an Android app; the workflow covers its code, settings, native libraries, and Flutter components.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to decode an APK, inspect its manifest and code, analyze injection points, add a Flutter runtime and Smali changes, update configuration, then rebuild, align, sign, and verify the result.
Why use it?
It makes APK work evidence-based by requiring findings at each stage, from decoding and analysis through rebuilding, signing, and verification. This helps track what changed and whether the final package is valid.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00034 $0.00921
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.00461
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00184
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00092

Security

Grade A, and why

hermes-apk-reverse-engineering scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Hermes+ Android Workspace Integrity Skill

This skill implements the canonical GEMINI.md contract for authorized Android workspace analysis and transformation. It is complementary guidance; when it differs from GEMINI.md, the root workspace contract is authoritative.

Evidence-first workflow

Stage Action Required evidence
Decode Run decompile_apk into a dedicated workspace. Input path/hash, package, SDK values, manifest path, Smali roots, and ABI directories.
Analyze Run analyze_injection_surface without workspace mutation. Application/activity/JNI/Flutter findings, native .so libraries, security analysis (anti-debug, root checks, SSL pinning, obfuscators), multi-dex roots, warnings, and candidate hooks.
Prepare Build or validate the Flutter payload. ABI coverage, native libraries, assets, build mode, engine identity, and warning set.
Integrate Run inject_flutter_runtime_and_smali only after selecting a supported mode. Generated descriptors, changed files, register/lifecycle evidence, and warnings.
Configure Run patch_manifest_and_config for reviewed manifest changes. Exact component, permission, application, and rendering deltas.
Verify Run recompile_align_and_sign as the final output step. Build, alignment, signature, certificate context, output path, and artifact classification.

Deep reverse engineering & security audit

  1. Anti-debugging & Root Detection: Review securityAnalysis results (isDebuggerConnected, RootBeer, su binaries, test-keys, TracerPid). Ensure injected Smali execution paths do not trip host tamper mechanisms.
  2. Native Libraries & ABI Parity: Inspect nativeLibraries mapping per ABI before payload synthesis. Ensure injected Flutter libraries match the target's native architectures.
  3. Multi-DEX Integrity: Resolve classes and methods across all smali_classes* directories. Never assume a single primary smali/ root in modern applications.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

hermes-apk-reverse-engineering is a skill published in the GitHub repository MarwanDevSpace/mcp-flutter-apk-injector (5 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 34 tokens to every session and 921 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
