py-armodel: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/sync-autosar-class/SKILL.md

sync-autosar-class is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from melodypapa/py-armodel. It costs 119 tokens per session (13,667 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guided process for updating an AUTOSAR model class from its PDF specification. AUTOSAR is a standard for automotive software, and TDD means writing a failing test before the code that makes it pass.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to discover related AUTOSAR classes, maintain a persistent work list, and implement each class with tests for the model and its reader and writer.
Why use it?
It reduces the risk of missing related classes, specification details, tests, or progress when implementing a model and its file reader and writer.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions subagents; names the AskUserQuestion tool.

This is melodypapa/py-armodel's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on py-armodel itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything py-armodel configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00119 $0.13667
Opus 5.5 $0.00048 $0.05467
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00024 $0.02733
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.01367

Security

Grade A, and why

sync-autosar-class scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (audit_class.py, audit_stamped_classes.py, pdf_page.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Syncing an AUTOSAR Model Class (TDD)

Core Principle

The AUTOSAR PDF spec table is the source of truth. Sync runs in two phases:

  • Phase 0 — Discovery & class closure (Rule 0016): build the closure of related classes (parents + member types), confirm the collected set with the user, locate each one's spec source (markdown → PDF → missing), resolve missing classes interactively (skip / derive from XSD), and write the persistent sync todo list (docs/plan/sync-todo/<InputClassName>.md) — the queue survives session death.
  • Phase 1 — 9-step TDD per class (Rules 0001–0015, 0017–0018): consume the queue one class at a time, one class per fresh session (Rule 0017). Two Red→Green pairs per class: model (2→3) and reader/writer (5→6). Write the failing test before the implementation. The 9 steps are mirrored into the session todo list — one todo per step, checked off the moment its step finishes (Rule 0018) — and into the todo file itself: every queued class row carries a 9-step sub-checklist written at file creation (Phase 0) and flipped per step, so step progress survives session death (Rule 0016.6). Each class ends with a rule-compliance confirmation gate (Step 9b) before it is stamped, marked finished in the todo list, and committed to the feature branch. All rows [x] in the todo list = the sync is finished.

Set the release before parse/write:

document = AUTOSAR.getInstance()
document.setARRelease('R23-11')

Detailed rules live in rules.md (Rule 0001–Rule 0026); this skill is self-contained (no external rules document). Each step below points into rules.md for the detail — do not re-derive it here.

When to use / NOT to use

Use when syncing, implementing, or extending a model class under src/armodel/models/M2/AUTOSARTemplates/ against its PDF spec table.

Not for: non-AUTOSAR classes; reader/writer-only refactors with no spec change; trivial edits that don't touch the class's spec contract.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sync-autosar-class is a skill published in the GitHub repository melodypapa/py-armodel (18 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 119 tokens to every session and 13,667 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-01.
