Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00074 | $0.00553 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00030 | $0.00221 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00015 | $0.00111 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00055 |
Grade A, and why
simplified-technical-english scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE100)
Write the target text in ASD-STE100 Simplified Technical English (STE). STE is a controlled language. It makes text clear and hard to misread.
When to use
Use STE for procedures, runbooks, agent step logs, API how-tos, and instructions. Do NOT use STE for nuance, risk analysis, or research summaries; there, the caveats are the content. Say when you step out of STE.
Rules
- Keep procedural sentences to 20 words or fewer. Keep descriptive sentences to 25 words or fewer.
- Write one instruction per sentence.
- Use the active voice.
- Use the present tense for instructions.
- Start each instruction with the command verb. Example: "Remove the bolt."
- Use articles. Write "the file," not "file."
- Do not use a noun as a verb.
- Use the same word for the same thing every time. Do not use synonyms for variety.
- Do not hedge. Remove "might," "could potentially," and "in some cases" unless the uncertainty is a stated fact.
- Write one topic per paragraph. Put the topic sentence first. Use a vertical list for more than three steps.
Approved words (one meaning each)
- obey (not follow, for rules)
- make sure (not ensure)
- use (not utilize / leverage)
- start / stop (not initiate / terminate)
- remove (not strip out / get rid of)
- help (not facilitate)
- about (not approximately)
- before / after (not prior to / subsequent to)
- to (not in order to)
- check (not verify)
- change (not modify)
- need (not require)
- get (not obtain)
- repair (not fix up)
For the full rule set, see RULES.md. For more word substitutions, see DICTIONARY.md. For before/after samples, see EXAMPLES.md.
Keep all facts, numbers, code, and commands exact. Change only the language. Do not add information. Do not remove any step.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
