local-business-rebuild

local-business-rebuild is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from mhrsdev/AI-Agent-Skills-Library. It costs 140 tokens per session (6,584 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for rebuilding a local business's existing website as a new, polished site using its content and branding. It includes an audit, rebuild plan, design system, copy improvements, accessibility checks, and deployment preparation.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a local business website, plan and build its replacement, improve its text and search setup, test the result, and prepare it for deployment.
Why use it?
It turns information about a prospect's current site into a concrete replacement that addresses its weaknesses. It also keeps the work organized in one project folder, called a monorepo, instead of scattering files across projects.

Skill for Claude CodeCodex

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is import BaseLayout from '../layouts/BaseLayout.astro';.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00140 $0.06584
Opus 5 $0.00070 $0.03292
Sonnet 5 $0.00028 $0.01317
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00658

Security

Grade A, and why

local-business-rebuild scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Local Business Website Rebuild

Build a world-class website for a local business prospect using their scraped content and branding. This is the core value delivery — the rebuilt site must be so dramatically better than their current one that the business owner immediately sees the value.

How This Skill Works

This is an adapted version of the full /website-rebuild skill, streamlined for speculative local business pitches:

  • Removed: Phases 11a/11b (Competitive Tools Research & Build), Phase 12 (Tools QA)
  • Consolidated: 3 QA rounds → 1 combined QA round
  • Kept full depth: Rebuild plan, copy optimization, all design rules, accessibility
  • Output location: ~/prospect-pipeline/sites/<slug>/ (monorepo structure)

Input

Read from ~/prospect-pipeline/prospects/<slug>/:

  • info.json — business details, category, contact info
  • audit-report.md — what's wrong with their current site
  • original-site/content-inventory.json — all scraped content
  • original-site/assets/ — logo, images, etc.

Tech Stack — Exact. Do Not Deviate.

Framework: Astro 5.x — static site generator, zero JavaScript by default, perfect for SEO. Styling: Tailwind CSS v4 (via Vite plugin) Images: Astro <Image> component from astro:assets (built-in optimization, WebP/AVIF) SEO: @astrojs/sitemap integration + manual JSON-LD View Transitions: Astro View Transitions (built-in, zero JS page transitions) Package Manager: npm (not pnpm, not yarn — npm only)

Initialization — Run These Exact Commands

cd ~/prospect-pipeline/sites/
npm create astro@latest <slug> -- --template minimal --no-install
cd <slug>
npm install
npx astro add tailwind --yes
npx astro add sitemap --yes
npm install -D prettier

That's it. The project is ready. Do not add React, do not add any other integrations unless the build specifically requires interactivity (rare for a local business site).

If Something Fails During Build

Fix the code. Do NOT:

  • Switch Node versions
  • Switch package managers
  • Reinstall the framework
  • Add React or any other UI framework
  • Change the project structure

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

local-business-rebuild is a skill published in the GitHub repository mhrsdev/AI-Agent-Skills-Library (6 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 140 tokens to every session and 6,584 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
