sk-create-with-human-voice

sk-create-with-human-voice is a skill for Claude Code, OpenCode from MichelKerkmeester/skilled-agent-harness_spec-driven-loops. It costs 35 tokens per session (2,926 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A prose-editing workflow that applies Human Voice Rules to writing or checks how closely writing follows them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to rewrite drafts in a human voice, review prose without editing it, or run a final voice check before a document ships.
Why use it?
It helps make documentation and other prose sound more natural and identifies machine-like writing patterns before publication.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00035 $0.02926
Opus 5 $0.00017 $0.01463
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00585
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00293

Security

Grade A, and why

sk-create-with-human-voice scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/hvr_scan.py, scripts/tests/test_hvr_scan.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

create-with-human-voice

create-with-human-voice is the voice-application workflow packet of the sk-doc family. It takes prose you are writing or have written and brings it up to the Human Voice Rules, or reports how far off it is without touching a byte.

The standard lives here and exists exactly once, at references/hvr-rules.md. This packet owns both halves: the standard itself, and the workflow that applies it, meaning what may be touched, in what order, with what arithmetic, and how the result is proved. Nothing in this packet restates a rule the standard already carries, and no consumer holds a second copy.

Keyword triggers: human voice rules, apply human voice, rewrite in human voice, make this sound human, sounds ai-generated, reads like ai wrote it, remove ai tells, ai writing tells, voice pass, de-ai the writing.

1. WHEN TO USE

Activation Triggers

  • Someone says a draft reads like a machine wrote it, and wants it fixed.
  • A document is about to ship and needs a voice pass before it does.
  • Someone asks how a passage scores against the Human Voice Rules, without wanting edits.
  • You are about to write documentation prose and want the standard in force from the first sentence rather than bolted on afterwards.
  • A sibling workflow needs the HVR step of its own pipeline actually performed rather than gestured at.

When NOT to Use

  • The target is a whole document needing structure, DQI and validators. That is sk-create-quality-control, which owns the file-level audit. This mode owns the voice, and the audit calls it for that step.
  • The artifact does not exist yet. A README, changelog, agent, command, catalog, playbook, benchmark, diagram or repo rule is scaffolded by its own sibling mode, which then applies this standard to the prose it produced.
  • The text is code, output, a quotation or a generated file. See references/scope-and-exemptions.md. A voice edit there is a defect, not an improvement.
  • The request is about brand or product tone. The Human Voice Rules are a linguistic standard for documentation, not a tone-of-voice guide.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
