Domain-Driven Design Patterns

Overview

Domain-Driven Design (DDD) aligns the software model with the business domain. The goal is code that domain experts can read, invariants enforced at the model boundary, and explicit seams between subsystems that evolve independently.

When to use: Designing a new bounded context; reviewing a domain model for anemia or leaking invariants; evaluating how two services should integrate; any time business rules are scattered across service layers instead of living in the domain.
