Microsoft 365 Agents SDK is a software toolkit for building AI agents that can communicate through channels such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, web apps, and custom applications. Developers use it to add state, storage, event handling, and channel-specific behavior while choosing their own AI services and models. The catalogue entries are skills and plugins for working with this SDK.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

Grade A, and why
teams-sdk-to-agents-sdk-typescript-migration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 197 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Teams SDK to Agents SDK for TypeScript
Overview
Migrate the Teams SDK App runtime to Agents SDK AgentApplication. For applications using botbuilder, use the Bot Framework migration skill instead. Honor read-only review requests and caller-provided validation tools.
Core rules
- Preserve commands, text matching, responses and state transitions, except that
user-facing references to the migrated runtime must say "agent", not "bot".
Apply this to README text, catalog descriptions, greetings and other messages.
Keep platform terms such as Azure Bot, bot ID and
bots[], and preserve existing source-derived paths and identifiers unless the caller requests a rename. - Preserve explicit customer SDK selections and authentication models. Do not introduce a new major version or prerelease without an applicable policy.
- Verify signatures and payloads against the installed selected-version types and implementation; similarly named APIs across SDKs are not interchangeable.
- Use the application's logging conventions, include operation context and the full Error, and avoid logging credentials or sensitive payloads.
Read the source handlers, startup, dependencies, environment configuration and manifest before changing code. Inventory each command, invoke payload, response, state transition and external call. Preserve command precedence and visibility, including targeted versus public messages. A similarly named .NET API is not evidence that a TypeScript API exists.
Packages and runtime
Use stable published Agents SDK packages compatible with one another:
@microsoft/agents-activity: Activity models and protocol helpers.@microsoft/agents-hosting: AgentApplication, state and storage.@microsoft/agents-hosting-express: Express startup.@microsoft/agents-hosting-extensions-msteams: Teams routes and client helpers.
Remove @microsoft/teams.apps and its runtime plugins. Supporting Teams card/model
packages can remain when used intentionally; the MSTeams extension itself depends
on @microsoft/teams.api. Do not globally ban every package in that namespace.
Avoid the deprecated agents-hosting-extensions-teams package for new migrations.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

teams-sdk-to-agents-sdk-typescript-migration is a skill published in the GitHub repository microsoft/Agents (1,101 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 2,351 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-06.
