Azure Skills Plugin is an agent plugin that packages Azure-specific guidance with MCP server configurations for carrying out Azure work. Coding agents use it to plan, deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, govern, and optimize Azure applications and services. The catalogue entries are the plugin's skills, instructions, and execution integrations.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00020 | $0.00391 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00156 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00078 |

Grade A, and why
azure-advisor-actionability scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

100% identical to azure-advisor-actionability — 0 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
What it actually says
Azure Advisor Actionability
Quick reference
Present remediation for the customer to run; never execute without explicit confirmation. Require the recommendationTypeId GUID and complete affected resourceId; reuse known values, ask for missing values, never guess.
Get resourceId from the user or an exact advisor_recommendation_list affected-resource record. Ask which resource if ambiguous; never use a recommendation instance ID.
Workflow
- Call
advisor_remediation_getonce with onlyrecommendationTypeId, neverresourceId, before generating guidance or substituting values. - For
RemediationNotFound, empty responses, or no usable remediation, state that Advisor remediation is unavailable. Retrieve relevant public Microsoft Learn documentation; ask for the recommendation description if unknown. If none is available, say so; never invent guidance. Report other tool errors without internals, not as empty results. - Use only returned remediation or retrieved Learn guidance, including warnings and verification.
- After retrieval, substitute unambiguous placeholders from the exact affected
resourceIdor confirmed context: subscription, resource group, resource names, full resource ID. Preserve and describe unresolved placeholders. - Preserve step order; separate Azure CLI and PowerShell.
For Advisor guidance, do not generate commands. For hybrid or executable, include every manual, decision, and command step. Omit raw JSON and internal labels.
Final response
Label the source: "Guidance source: Azure Advisor remediation tool" or "Guidance source: publicly available Microsoft Learn documentation" with retrieved learn.microsoft.com citations. Never attribute fallback guidance to Advisor or claim execution.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

azure-advisor-actionability is a skill published in the GitHub repository microsoft/azure-skills (1,572 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 20 tokens to every session and 391 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 100% identical to azure-advisor-actionability, differing in 0 lines, and is treated as a copy.
