dt-figma-export

dt-figma-export is a skill for Claude Code from microsoft/hve-core. It costs 63 tokens per session (2,254 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for exporting Design Thinking work to FigJam or Figma Design through Figma's integration server. FigJam is Figma's collaborative whiteboard, while Figma Design is for structured visual layouts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to export a project's completed or active method artefacts to a FigJam board, a Figma Design file, or both. It requires the project files and a configured Figma connection.
Why use it?
It puts recorded Design Thinking artefacts where a team can review them together instead of leaving them only in project files. It also supports choosing the latest work or a particular method and output type.

About the project

HVE Core is a collection of agents, prompts, coding instructions, and skills for building repeatable software-development workflows with GitHub Copilot. It is intended for individuals and teams that want structured AI-assisted research, planning, implementation, and review, while the catalogue entries provide many of its reusable workflow components.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00063 $0.02254
Opus 5.5 $0.00025 $0.00902
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00451
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00225

Security

Grade A, and why

dt-figma-export scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DT Figma Export

Goal

Export Design Thinking artifacts from .copilot-tracking/dt/{project-slug}/ to a FigJam board or Figma Design file using the official figma MCP server, so a team can review them collaboratively. FigJam boards are the default: a whiteboarding surface for sticky notes, text, shapes, connectors, and diagrams. Figma Design files suit teams that want structured frames with auto-layout for higher-fidelity output.

Inputs

  • project-slug (required): kebab-case Design Thinking project identifier.
  • board-title (optional): explicit board or file title. When omitted, derive a concise title from the project context and exported method.
  • method (optional, default latest): a method number, or latest for the most recent completed or active method.
  • output-type (optional, default figjam): figjam for a FigJam whiteboard, design for a Figma Design file, or both for one of each.

Prerequisites

  • The DT project artifacts exist under .copilot-tracking/dt/{project-slug}/.
  • The figma MCP server is configured for the session, for example in .mcp.json at the workspace root.
  • The remote Figma MCP server is available across Figma plans and seats; the desktop MCP server requires a Dev or Full seat on a paid plan. See Figma's access guide before choosing a server.
  • Authentication happens through browser OAuth on first use; no credential files or API keys are required.
  • Usage limits vary by plan, seat, and tool and can change. Check Figma's current rate limits and access before sustained use. figma/whoami and figma/create_new_file are currently exempt from read-tool limits.
  • figma/use_figma and figma/generate_diagram are write tools. Write-to-canvas tools are in beta; consult Figma's tool catalog for current classifications and billing guidance.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
