all-pass

all-pass is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from microsoft/waza. It costs 0 tokens per session (424 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A sample testing skill for scanning Markdown files and estimating their token, character, and line counts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to test token-counting commands, verify Markdown scanning, and report file statistics in a table or other requested format.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable way to check file-scanning behavior and the output formats of token-counting tools.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00424
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00212
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00085
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00042

Security

Grade A, and why

all-pass scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

# Test Skill

A demonstration skill used for testing the `waza tokens` command suite.

## Skill Activation Triggers

**Use this skill when:**
- Running unit tests for token counting
- Verifying file scanning behavior
- Testing output formats (table, JSON)

## Instructions

1. **Scan files** - Find all markdown files in the skill directory
2. **Count tokens** - Estimate token usage for each file
3. **Report results** - Output in requested format

## Output Format

Structure results as:

| File | Tokens | Characters | Lines |
|------|--------|------------|-------|
| SKILL.md | 150 | 600 | 40 |
| README.md | 50 | 200 | 15 |

## Examples

### Example 1: Count All Files

```bash
waza tokens count
Example 1b: Count a Specific Directory
waza tokens count ~/my-skill
waza tokens count references
Output:
File          Tokens   Chars  Lines
------------------------------------
README.md         50     200     15
SKILL.md         150     600     40
Example 2: JSON Format
waza tokens count --format json
Output:
{
  "totalTokens": 200,
  "totalFiles": 2,
  "files": {
    "README.md": {"tokens": 50},
    "SKILL.md": {"tokens": 150}
  }
}
Behavior Guidelines
  • Only count markdown files (.md, .mdx)
  • Skip binary and non-text files
  • Respect .gitignore patterns
  • Use streaming for large file sets
Files
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
Changes
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
all-pass is a skill published in the GitHub repository microsoft/waza (1,292 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 424 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
