trainer-demo-deploy: Skill for Claude Code

.github/skills/az-webapp-development/SKILL.md

webapp-development is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from MicrosoftLearning/trainer-demo-deploy. It costs 36 tokens per session (4,447 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of patterns for generating .NET 10 web applications in C#, with sample business data, optional Azure data-service connections, container files, and azd wiring. azd is Azure's command-line tool for setting up and deploying an application.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps create sample apps with pages, models, seed data, Docker support, and connections to services such as SQL, Cosmos DB, or Storage Tables.
Why use it?
It removes the need to repeatedly design the project layout, sample data, and deployment connection points for Azure demo web apps.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: mentions Claude Code.

This is MicrosoftLearning/trainer-demo-deploy's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on trainer-demo-deploy itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything trainer-demo-deploy configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is project: ./src/{ProjectName}.Web.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.04447
Opus 5.5 $0.00014 $0.01779
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00889
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00445

Measured today against content hash f4b0c015211d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

webapp-development scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Webapp Development Skill

Patterns and templates for scaffolding .NET 10 C# sample web applications with industry-specific data for Azure demo scenarios. When the architecture includes a data service (Storage Table, SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.), the app uses that service as its data backend. Otherwise, it falls back to local JSON seed files. Covers project structure, data service patterns, container support, and azd integration.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
