compliance-audit

compliance-audit is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from mightbesaad/audit-event-mcp. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,169 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A checklist for auditing an AI agent's event log against GDPR and the EU AI Act. GDPR is the European Union's data-protection law, and the AI Act is its law governing artificial-intelligence systems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check lawful basis, purpose, and other compliance requirements in an event store such as a SQLite database.
Why use it?
It turns a complex legal review into eight checks with pass, fail, or warning results and supporting evidence.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01169
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00584
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00234
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00117

Security

Grade A, and why

compliance-audit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

compliance-audit

Run an 8-axis GDPR/AI-Act compliance audit against an @kajaril/audit-event-mcp event store.

When to use

When the user asks to audit, review, or check compliance of an agent's audit log — e.g.:

  • "run the compliance audit"
  • "check our AI Act compliance"
  • "does our event log meet GDPR requirements"

What you need before running

  • Access to the event store: either a local SQLite file, a connection string, or the ability to call query_events via MCP
  • The client ID whose DO you are auditing

The 8 axes

Run all 8 axes in sequence. For each, produce pass | fail | warn and an evidence snippet (first 3 matching rows, or the count if many).

Axis 1 — Lawful basis present (GDPR Art. 5–6)

Query: records where subject_id IS NOT NULL OR event_type = 'human.turn'.

  • pass: all such records have lawful_basis in {legitimate_interest, contract, legal_obligation, vital_interest, public_task, consent}
  • fail: any such record has lawful_basis IS NULL
  • pass: records with lawful_basis IS NULL all have subject_id IS NULL AND event_type != 'human.turn'

Axis 2 — Purpose specificity (GDPR Art. 5(1)(b))

Query: all records.

  • fail: any purpose field is shorter than 10 characters
  • warn: identical purpose value appears in > 20% of total records (boilerplate signal)
  • pass: otherwise

Axis 3 — Subject linkage (AI Act Art. 12)

Query: records where event_type = 'human.turn'.

  • fail: any human.turn record has subject_id IS NULL
  • pass: all human.turn records have non-null subject_id

Axis 4 — Retention bounded (GDPR Art. 5(1)(e))

Query: all records.

  • fail: any retention_days > 730 (2 years)
  • pass: all retention_days ≤ 730

Axis 5 — Chain integrity (tamper-evidence)

Sample: randomly select 10% of records (minimum 10, maximum 200). For each sampled record, recompute chain_hash:

input_hash_slot = input_hash ?? input_hash_omitted_reason
chain_hash = SHA-256(id + "|" + event_type + "|" + input_hash_slot + "|" + (prev_hash ?? ""))
  • fail: any recomputed hash does not match stored chain_hash
  • pass: all sampled hashes match

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

compliance-audit is a skill published in the GitHub repository mightbesaad/audit-event-mcp (2 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 1,169 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
