seo-optimize-article

seo-optimize-article is a skill for Claude Code from Misar-AI/misarblog-mcp. It costs 54 tokens per session (360 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review and editing workflow for improving an existing Misar.Blog article for search engines and AI answer systems. It reads the full article, scores it, suggests search terms and headings, and rewrites metadata and links.

In plain words
What is it for?
Auditing SEO, rewriting titles and meta descriptions, finding internal links, improving article structure, and making answers clearer for AI search systems.
Why use it?
It helps diagnose why an article may be hard for search engines or answer systems to find, understand, or cite. It also avoids recommending made-up internal links by searching the real published articles.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00360
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00180
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00072
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00036

Measured 9d ago against content hash 638c7278cb23, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

seo-optimize-article scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Optimise an article

Read the actual article first

get_article by slug. Auditing from the title alone produces generic advice that applies to any post and helps none.

Audit

Report an SEO score out of 100 with the reasoning, then:

  • Keywords the piece should rank for but never mentions.
  • Title — rewritten, under 60 characters, keyword near the front.
  • Meta description — rewritten, under 155 characters, written to earn the click rather than to summarise.
  • Internal links — use search_articles to find real published articles to link to. Never invent a URL; a broken internal link is worse than none.
  • Structure — headings that pose the question a reader searched for.

AI answer engines (AEO/GEO)

Distinct from classic SEO and increasingly where the traffic goes:

  • Answer the title's question directly in the first paragraph. Engines quote self-contained passages; a piece that builds to its answer never gets cited.
  • Keep each section independently comprehensible — a passage lifted out of context must still make sense.
  • Use concrete specifics (numbers, versions, dates). Vague claims do not get quoted.

Apply

update_article — but ask before changing anything. A title change on a ranking article can lose position, so flag that trade-off explicitly when the article already gets traffic.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
