Konnect is a native KiCad plugin that lets AI assistants create and edit electronic schematics and printed circuit board layouts through the Model Context Protocol, using a Rust binary with tools for design, review, and manufacturing preparation. It is for people who want to use Claude or another language model in KiCad for PCB design tasks. The catalogue add-ons are bundled skills and agents that teach the assistant KiCad workflows and conventions.
