tcx-order-allow

tcx-order-allow is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from monarchjuno/tradingcodex. It costs 62 tokens per session (666 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A permission rule for allowing at most one TradingCodex order submission or cancellation during a Codex turn. TradingCodex is the trading system named by the add-on.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to authorize one paper, validation, or live order submission or cancellation in the current turn.
Why use it?
It adds a narrowly defined approval step before a trading order can be submitted or cancelled.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00062 $0.00666
Opus 5 $0.00031 $0.00333
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00133
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00067

Security

Grade A, and why

tcx-order-allow scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 62 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Order Allow

Permit at most one final order submission or cancellation later in the current root native Codex turn. This skill carries no tool or broker authority. The deterministic UserPromptSubmit hook must validate the first meaningful invocation and issue the actual workspace- and turn-bound grant before any model or subagent can act.

Invocation

Use one of these canonical forms at the start of the meaningful user prompt:

$tcx-order-allow --mode paper
$tcx-order-allow --mode validation
$tcx-order-allow --mode live

The skill token may instead be a Markdown link only when its label and target match this workspace's projected tcx-order-allow/SKILL.md. Leading blank lines, ASCII letter case in the skill name, and normalized line endings are harmless. The skill token, --mode, mode value, and non-empty work request may share a line or wrap across lines. $tcx-workflow is one valid runtime-skill example, not a required part of every order-allow prompt. Do not use quotes, escaped values, aliases, extra mode flags, or --mode=<value> syntax.

Grant Contract

  • The valid first meaningful invocation admits execution only for the current root turn. It does not submit an order when the prompt arrives.
  • The grant is single-use and bound to the workspace, prompt, session and turn, Codex permission mode, and selected mode. A scheduled task receives a fresh decision on every run; no grant persists merely because an Automation remains enabled.
  • The selected mode is a ceiling. The eventual ticket and broker connection must match it exactly.
  • Submission or cancellation still requires a canonical order ticket, role-separated risk review and approval receipt, policy fit, idempotency, broker readiness, mandatory audit, and reconciliation behavior.
  • live mode also preserves every live opt-in, reviewed-provider, signed health, trading-enabled, account-scope, limit, and explicit confirmation requirement. This skill is not live confirmation.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
