weekly-performance

A skill that creates a week-over-week creative-performance slide deck, comparing the most recent seven days with the seven days before them. It classifies the period and builds a presentation narrative around the largest creative insight.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for weekly creative-performance reporting. It can output a self-contained HTML slide deck and, depending on the selected format, content for Notion, Slack, or print-ready PDF.
Why use it?
It turns advertising results into a story about changes such as a breakout, fatigue, shift, steady performance, or launch. This makes the main performance signal easier to present than a raw data dump.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00105 $0.03048
Opus 5 $0.00053 $0.01524
Sonnet 5 $0.00021 $0.00610
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00305

Security

Grade A, and why

weekly-performance scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Weekly Performance Slide Deck

Generate a week-over-week creative performance analysis as a presentation-ready slide deck. The deck tells a story — it's not a data dump.

Phase 0: Orient

  1. Acknowledge: "Building your week-over-week creative performance deck."
  2. Ask format: "HTML slide deck, Notion, or Slack? Anything specific you want highlighted?"
  3. Connected workflow: After the deck, you can dive into specific ads (/analyze-ad), find iterations on fatiguing creatives (/find-iterations), or generate concepts to fill gaps (/create-concepts).

If the user already specified the format, skip the question and build.

Phase 1: Setup

1a. Parse Arguments

  • --output: Where to deliver the report. Default: auto (ask the user).
    • html — Self-contained HTML with CSS scroll-snap
    • notion — Structured document with headings, tables, callout blocks
    • slack — Concise highlights post (max 300 words)
    • pdf — Print-optimized HTML with page breaks
    • auto — Ask the user before building

1b. Load Context

  1. Read ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/motion-creative.config.md for org-specific config. If the file does not exist, use these defaults and suggest the user run /customize:
    • primary_kpi: use goalMetric from first get_creative_insights response
    • demographic_focus: both
    • primary_metrics / secondary_metrics / exclude_metrics: auto-detect
    • Brand guidelines: pull from get_workspace_brand
  2. Read ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../creative-strategist/SKILL.md for methodology.
  3. Read ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../creative-strategist/references/performance-metrics.md for metric definitions.
  4. If settings contain primary_metrics, ensure those metrics lead the WoW analysis. If exclude_metrics, omit from all comparisons.

1c. Resolve Date Windows

Calculate two non-overlapping 7-day windows ending yesterday (never include today — partial data distorts metrics):

  • This week: start = 8 days ago, end = yesterday
  • Last week: start = 15 days ago, end = 9 days ago

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

weekly-performance is a skill published in the GitHub repository Motion-Creative/motion-creative-plugin (20 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 105 tokens to every session and 3,048 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
