orchestration

orchestration is a skill for Claude Code from motlin/claude-code-plugins. It costs 17 tokens per session (299 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of rules for coordinating specialized skills and agents during coding work. It describes which helpers to use for code quality, command-line work, testing, Git, context, and finishing tasks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to organize coding workflows that involve several skills, agents, builds, tests, or Git operations.
Why use it?
It gives multi-step agent work a consistent order and reduces the chance of skipping checks or using the wrong helper.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00017 $0.00299
Opus 5.5 $0.00007 $0.00120
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00060
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00030

Security

Grade A, and why

orchestration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Skill Guidelines

Most tasks use several of these skills:

Skill When to use
code:code-quality Before editing code
code:cli When running shell commands
build:precommit After code changes
git:git-workflow For all git operations
orchestration:conversation-style For response guidelines
orchestration:llm-context When working with .llm/ directories
orchestration:memory Before saving a memory
recap:recap Before ending a turn

Git

Use the git:commit skill to commit, git:conflicts to resolve merge or rebase conflicts, and git:git-rebase to rebase the current branch on upstream.

Temporary files

Write scratch files and temporary output to the session scratchpad directory when the harness provides one, and otherwise to .llm/scratch/. Avoid /tmp and other system temp directories; reading from them triggers permission prompts.

Finishing

Before returning control after a task that changed files or git state, use the orchestration:finish skill.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

orchestration is a skill published in the GitHub repository motlin/claude-code-plugins (20 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 17 tokens to every session and 299 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
